Jeff Parker:
Founder and Director
Jeff has been teaching English Literature and Writing at the Norman Howard School for 15 years and teaches in the Masters in Special Education program at Roberts Wesleyan College. He is an active member of the National Writing Project and has presented at both local and national conferences on Holocaust education and related topics. Recently, he was invited to become a teacher-fellow of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
Jason Hermance
Jason has taught Global Studies I and II at the Norman Howard School for the past eleven years and serves as the Chair of the Social Studies Department. He is also the advisor of the school’s chapter of Rho Kappa, the national social studies honor society. Jason is a member of both the National and New York Council for the Social Studies, recently presenting at the annual NYCSS Conference about how to differentiate Common Core instruction for a variety of learners in a social studies classroom.
Jennifer Wilson
Jennifer Wilson is a Social Studies Teacher in North East, Pennsylvania. Her eighteen years of teaching experience at North East High School include teaching American History II, Advanced Placement European History, Western Civilizations, Contemporary Issues, and her original course entitled Ethnic Conflict. She is also a teacher-fellow of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
